Jim Nerlin

Jim has been a full-time real estate broker in Colorado for 29 years. Jim specializes in resort, recreational and ranch properties and has spent many years in the saddle exploring the land he represents and sells. Jim was named "Realtor of the Year" in 1996 and 2000. Jim's knowledge of the local real estate market is complemented by his active participation in the real estate field. He has served as President of the Telluride Association of Realtors and Director of the Colorado Association of Realtors. Jim has served as Chairman of the Professional Standards Committee and is also an active member of Realtor's Land Institute, which is a national organization that specializes in rural properties.

Outside of the world of real estate, Jim is married to Peggy Nerlin and has 3 children and 2 grandsons. He has also devoted a great deal of time and effort to the Telluride community including various involvements with the Planning Commission and County Commissioners as well as serving as President of the Telluride Freestyle Team. Jim is a 12-year member of the Telluride Elks Club and a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign War (Vietnam Veteran).
