Alex grew up in Kansas and knew at a young age that he wanted to live in the mountains of Colorado. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, and has been living and working as a broker in Telluride since 2004.

“From my first backpack into the San Juan Mountains in the early 80’s, I knew this special part of Colorado was where I wanted to be”.

After a visit to one of Telluride's summer festivals in 2002, Alex and his wife Sage decided to make the move from Sausalito, California to Telluride with their two sons, Henry and Jake. Alex brings a solid business background to TREC, having built a 14-year sales and management career in litigation support and data storage technology in the Bay Area.

During his off hours he likes to hike with his family, fly fish, ski, mountain bike and golf.
